The reports are coming in and thus far it looks like the very first WTM (World Travel Market) Africa hosted in Cape Town has been a huge success.

WTM Africa in Cape Town was hosted over 2 days – Fri 02 May and Sat 03 May – at the CTICC, the event saw some 350 exhibitors and hundreds visitors trade / collaborate / and talk travel.

The well organised show was desrcibed by some as ‘the best they have attended’ and allowed for quality networking sessions. For this was a great opportunity for us to see our trade parters under one roof; calaborating for better rates and products for you – our happy travellers.

From Dubai to Turkey, South Africa to Swaziland, there were plenty of companies putting their best foot forward. Unlike many trade shows held in South Africa WTM has more than just Southern Africa, it really opens the door to combining many global destinations.

A show to rival the historical and ever popular Indaba hosted in Durban later this month? Time will tell, but all indications are, it may well.
