Arusha Lodges And Hotels

The Arusha area in northern Tanzania is most likely to be the destination that one starts and/or ends a Tanzanian safari in (or at the very least a Northern Tanzania circuit safari). It is also worth noting that the Arusha Airport is an international one, and long haul flights from all around Africa and Europe land here.

A rather scenic destination awaits, with numerous safari destinations close by waiting to be explored and these include; Mt. Meru, Ngurdoto Crater (little Ngorongoro), the Momella Lakes and for some wildlife photography, those Black and white Colobus monkeys make for a great start to a safari in Tanzania.

The town and surrounding areas are all within an easy days drive of Northern Tanzania's famed national Parks, including; Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro.

The experience of Kilimanjaro Safaris is like no other on the planet. The views from the summit are nothing short of spectacular, and you'll be able to say that you've conquered Africa's tallest mountain! There is also the chance to hike up Mt. Meru is an option should one have a few days free.

We have compiled a small selection of the best Arusha lodges and hotels near the town, near the airport, and in the national park. This accommodation selection has been popular with our clients for over two decades now. Click here for our full portfolio of Tanzania lodges.
