On the numerous games drive here we had a fantastic time spotting wildlife and birdlife but it is back at the lodge with the views of the Sand River where we had our best birding opportunities. It was also back at the lodge while swimming in the pool that a large herd of buffalo and elephant slowly meandered up the river bed - amazing.
