Safari Itinerary
Day 1: South Luangwa National Park
- A short flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe where a representative will meet you.
- A 1hr 30 min scenic drive to Nsefu Camp awaits.
- The Nsefu area of South Luangwa offers phenomenal wildlife.
- A late afternoon / early even game drive awaits.
- Returning to Nsefu Camp for a scrumptious dinner and a nightcap.
- Overnight: Nsefu Camp
Day 2: South Luangwa National Park
- Breakfast and a cup or two of coffee and off we go exploring.
- Game drives and/ or walking safaris are on offer.
- We highly recommend that you take on a walking safari.
- Walking safari in the Luangwa are generally, easy and relaxed, nothing too strenuous
- Overnight: Nsefu Camp
Day 3: South Luangwa National Park
- After an early breakfast, we game walk (about 3 hours) to Tena Tena Camp.
- Tena Tena Camp is located within the park itself on the banks of the Luangwa River.
- From the camps main area, one can watch elephants, hippos, antelopes and even big cats (if you are lucky).
- Lunch followed in time by an afternoon/ evening game drive.
- Overnight: Tena Tena Camp
Day 4: South Luangwa National Park
- Today is Buca Buca day, we visit this spectacular lagoon in the morning.
- Here at Buca Buca lagoon we sit and watch the wildlife come down to drink, fantastic sightings are on offer.
- Lunch is either back at camp or picnic lunch at the lagoon.
- Afternoon and evening game drives or an afternoon walking safari awaits.
- Overnight: Tena Tena Camp
Day 5: Lower Zambezi National Park
- We leave the Luangwa on a flight to the Lower Zambezi National Park (1 hour 30 min).
- The Lower Zambezi River, dotted with islands and huge acacia and sausage trees is our home from home for the next few days.
- Game viewing here ranks up there with the best in Africa.
- Arriving at Chiawa Camp we check-in and head for a well-deserved lunch.
- By river or by vehicle your afternoon game activities are going to be spectacular, either way.
- Overnight: Chiawa Camp
Days 6-7: Lower Zambezi National Park
- Numerous activities are on hand for you to choose from over the next two days.
- From bushwalks to game drives.
- Canoe trips and river safaris.
- As well as angling for the infamous tiger fish.
- Overnight: Chiawa Camp
Day 8: Zambia Two Rivers Safari Ends
- After breakfast and fond farewells, our safaris is nearly over.
- A drive through the park to the airstrip to meet the plane taking you to Lusaka (30 min).

- Kapinga CampKapinga Camp is situated in the extreme north of the Kafue National Park, and in the north-west corner of the Busanga Plains. The camp has been designed to blend in with the environment and natural products have been used as much as possible in the construction of the camp.
- Nsolo CampNsolo Camp is one of the more historic camps in Zambia. It was cited by Norman Carr in 1987 and Shaddy, the Camp Manager and guide has been studying the wildlife and conducting walking safaris from this camp for over 10 years. One of the more remote camps in the Luangwa.
- Mukambi Safari LodgeMukambi Safari Lodge offers guests a safari experience in the Kafue National Park's central region, a region famed for excellent wildlife and birdlife. Located on the banks of the Kafue River, Mukambi offers game drives, walking safaris, fishing excursions, boat and sunset cruises.
- Shumba CampShumba Camp is situated in the northern region of the Kafue National Park, in the famed Busanga Plains area. The Plains, covering approximately 750 square kilometers, is considered one of Zambia's most important wetlands as well as a wildlife paradise with a wealth of plains game, predators and birds.
- Puku Ridge CampPuku Ridge Camp has a very intimate atmosphere and combines an authentic safari experience under canvas with panoramic views over the abundant floodplain below. Each of the seven oversized tents has picture windows out onto the floodplain over a private viewing deck.
- Kaingu LodgeKaingu Lodge offers guests a choice of six tented suites and one family house, a small and intimate lodge that is owner run and managed that is perfect for couples, honeymoons and families alike. The lodge is set in a pristine wilderness on the banks of the Kafue River with views into National park itself.
