Oliver's is intimate and personal, staffed by a world-class team that has worked together for many years to perfect a safari experience that guests consistently rank among their best.
Tarangire offers visitors huge herds of elephants and buffalos, and a remarkable concentration of big cats. Wild dog, kudu, oryx and gerenuk, can also be found here, along with arguably the best bird diversity in Africa (More than 550 species).
Welcome to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful and secluded location home to one of the highest elephant populations in the country. Our selection of Tarangire lodges offers a unique and personal experience within the park, surrounded by stunning baobab and acacia trees.

10 en-suite safari tents showcase bush elegance in a spectacular setting with each suite offering leather armchairs, headboards that are hand-carved from African mahogany all with amazing vistas out into the surrounding bush.
All suites come complete with flushing toilets and spacious outdoor showers, and private verandas.
8 Standard suites as well as one family tent (sleeps four) and a honeymoon suite.

Oliver's Camp specializes in delicious home-cooked meals served alfresco to guests either in an indoor or outdoor environment (weather and temperature dependent). All ingredients are sourced in Arusha, supporting local communities there, and a local women’s project will soon be supplying all honey used at the camp.
Start the day with a Continental breakfast, with bacon and eggs to order, served in camp.
Lunches are light and fresh.
Dinners are three-course sit-down meals, with a traditional barbecue served once a week.
Picnic breakfasts and lunches are on offer if you prefer to eat while you are on a game drive.
Game drives; Game drives are offered twice daily in the cooler mornings and evenings all in an open game-viewing vehicle. All vehicles have power points where you can recharge your devices. Private vehicles are available at an additional cost.
Night drives; As night falls, Africa's nocturnal wildlife comes out to play. Discover the magic of the bush under the stars on an exhilarating night drive.
Walking safaris; A specialty of Oliver's is the walking safari option all within this spectacular area with its exhilarating and memorable wildlife and birdlife.
Fly camping; (optional) sleeping out in a lightweight fly camp with nothing more than a tent, a guide and a small team of staff.
Hot-air balloon safaris; (optional) a romantic and evocative balloon safari.
Families with children aged five and older are warmly welcomed in Oliver’s Camp, which has a family tent that sleeps four. Oliver's does not, however, offer specific activities for children or personal guides. Note that children below 12 should always share a tent with an adult.
