Introduction
Owner run and managed, Tanda Tula Safari Camp is one of the finest tented camps found anywhere in South Africa. The Camp itself is located deep in the heart of the Timbavati Game Reserve on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River.
Tanda Tula has an incredible team of staff members wait to welcome you into this picturesque camp and to make you feel at home.
This Timbavati Safari Camp is completely unfenced merging luxury with the natural environment.
Reserve Information
In the heart of the Timbavati, a reserve for its wildlife, birdlife and those famed "White Lions".
Rooms and Suites
12 tented safari camp suites are available with this Timbavati Safari Camp; each one offers stunning and wild views over the riverbed below and deep in the bushveld.
All of these tented suites features its en-suite bathroom with a Victorian bathtub and outdoor shower.
Cuisine and Wine
Excellent bush cuisine is the order of the day at Tanda Tula, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner one is in for a sensory experience with head chef Ryan Mullett at the helm.
Breakfasts are served out in the bush alongside the riverbed in a spot nestled under majestic trees just a few kilometres from camp (weather dependent).
Lunches and high tea are served back at the camp around the pool or in the lounge area.
Dinner is always a special occasion around a fire in the boma; it is here that we all ease back to enjoy the romance of the African night.

Safari Activities
Twice daily game drives exploring more than 55 000 hectares, all drives are led by hight experience and skilled guides and trackers.
A maximum of six guests per safari vehicle ensures an exclusive safari experience.
Safari walks guided by armed guide and tracker leave Tanda Tula Safari Camp just after breakfast, depending on wildlife sightings, walks can be up to two hours in length.
Family Friendly
Children 8 years and older are welcome although that being said we would say 12 years and up. Older kids would gain more benefit from wildlife activities.
