Introduction
In the midst of the "Big 5" Thornybush Game Reserve lies Serondella Lodge were excellent opportunities await for spectacular wildlife and birding.
Serondella is set along the banks of a Monwana tributary offers guests that classic safari experience wrapped in a small and intimate lodge with spectacular surrounds.
There are two waterholes positioned on either side of the lodge; both offer hides from which one can sit, enjoy and photograph to your heart's content.

Reserve Information
The famed Thornybush Game Reserve offers visitors one of South Africa's most exceptional bush experiences. Adjacent to the Kruger National Park, Thornybush comprises 14 000 hectares of pristine wilderness that is teaming with wildlife and birdlife including the "Big 5".
Unspoilt nature and those stunning vistas of the surrounding African bushveld is what a safari here is all about, not forgetting the wildlife on show. Thornybush is up there with the best private reserves not only in South Africa but Southern Africa as a whole.
Rooms and Suites
In the heart of the Thornybush Reserve, Serondella Game Lodge offers guests 3x one bedroomed safari suites.
The family suite offers guests an intimate lounge with a fireplace, three bedrooms/ two bathrooms and gorgeous bushveld views. The family suite is perfect for families or a few friends travelling together.
Serondella only accommodates a maximum of 8 guests at a time.
Cuisine and Wine
Sumptuous African cuisine is served in the outdoor Boma or the indoor dining area, weather dependent. Private dinners are available on request overlooking the waterhole.
Lodge Facilities
Within and surrounding the central guest area at Serondella Lodge one will find a swimming pool, bar and lounge area and well as the Boma were dinners are enjoyed.
Safari Activities
Game drives with experienced guides and tracker take place twice daily, the morning drive starts at the crack of dawn while the afternoon drive leaves in the late afternoon returning when the sun has set.
Should one in interested, game .walks after breakfast/ brunch are tailored to suit one's interests and fitness levels. A great way not only to stretch your legs but also to experience all the knowledge that the Shangaan trackers one surrounding wildlife, birdlife, trees, plants, insects and local history and culture

Children are most welcome at Thornybush Serondella Lodge. A family suite with three bedrooms is the ideal choice for families when staying here.

All guests staying within the Thornybush Game Reserve have access to the amazing Amani Spa at Thornybush Game Lodge. One merely has to speak to camp management were one is staying, they will book and transfer you to Game Lodge for a treatment and massage of your choice.
