Introduction
Beautifully appointed alongside the Sand River, Singita Boulders Lodge has an air of tranquillity that honours Africa in an authentic way.
Named so after it was impossible to remove an enormous boulder without disturbing the environment, Boulders Lodge is built around and in harmony with the elements.
Guests can enjoy wrap-around views from most parts of the coarse stone lodge, and you're bound to spot wildlife big and small throughout your stay.
The lookout deck offers the perfect spot from which to observe the surrounding landscape. The quiet pond alongside the thatched lounge area allows the light and the landscape inside to the wide open spaces, where straw baskets, neutral shades and textured fabrics complement wooden furniture, beckoning guests to enjoy peaceful afternoons.
Reserve Information
Singita Sabi Sand spans more than 45 000 acres of private bushveld renowned for high concentrations of birdlife and wildlife, including frequent leopard sightings. The perennial Sand River bisects the Singita concession within Sabi Sand Reserve.
The Reserve offers visitors one of the most prolific wildlife experiences anywhere in Africa. The Reserve lies adjacent to and is open to the Kruger National Park, wildlife moves freely between the two areas.
Wildlife sightings from any of the Singita Sabi Sand lodges are nothing short of amazing.
Rooms and Suites
Twelve large luxuriously appointed suites offering every creature comfort one could possibly think of are waiting for visitors at Singita Boulders Lodge.
An expansive living area with double-sided fireplace, private wooden leisure decks with a private plunge pool are all part and parcel of the Singita experience.
All suites are air-conditioned for those hot summer days or chilly winter nights.
Amazing en-suite bathrooms wrapped by glass walls all offer freestanding baths, indoor and outdoor showers.
Cuisine and Wine
Boulders Lodge is modern, contemporary Africa, which is reflected in the cuisine.
Fusions of Asian, pan-African and modern European flavours and textures are primary influences. Menus are tailor-made to cater to your needs and desires, with romantic private dinners in your suite.
The warmth of the Boma fire and the singing of the Shangaan choir is the perfect backdrop to Haute Cuisine Africa Style.
