Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge is without question one of the more unique offerings out there in the world of safari lodges.
The lodge, built into the earth (hence the name) and sits almost invisible in the Sabi Sand landscape.
Hidden corridors lead one on an almost magical path to suites, lounges, dining areas and out into the open.
A unique lodge that is in complete harmony with its surrounds.
Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve is situated within one of the oldest and largest proclaimed private reserves in Africa - the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
The reserve with diverse habitats hosts some 200 species of wildlife including lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant, cheetah, wild dog. Sabi Sabi offers those interested in birding a listing of a remarkable 350 species recorded.
Exceptional game viewing has always been a trademark of Sabi Sand Game Reserve, and Sabi Sabi is certainly no exception.

13 ultra modern and luxurious suites are individually decorated offering guests large king-sized beds, lounge area, private plunge pools, glass-fronted en-suite bathrooms with of course indoor and outdoor showers
Of the 13 suite, one is the famed "Amber Presidential Suite". The Amber Suite is large in dimensions with private exercise and steam rooms, its own kitchen, bar and study. The Amber Suite also comes with a private safari vehicle and guide.
All suites have a private butler service.
Cuisine and Wine
Dining in a subterranean cellar at the Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge will be a celebration you are not likely to forget. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner one can expect a silver service affair.
A vast and impressive wine cellar is there for choosing that perfect wine to accompany your meal.
Stylish sitting areas, a well-stocked library, art gallery and boutique curio shop are all on offer within the confines of the central guest area.
Outside there is a large swimming pool and verandahs with stunning views out into the bushveld of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
Morning and evening game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicle are part and parcel of ones safari experience in the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve. All safaris a led by highly qualified guides and trackers.
After morning game drives and breakfast, should you desire there are short walking safari options on the cards. A great way to stretch those legs while viewing Africa's wildlife and birdlife on foot.
Afternoon into evening game drives are in our opinion; the highlight. En-route, stopping for sundowners and being witness to how the bushveld and wildlife behaviour changes once the night falls.
