These safaris are for those who love the open road and love exploring at their own pace; one can stop off at the Blyde River Canyon and Bourkes Luck Potholes or any of the numerous scenic and historical spots en-route.

A daily air shuttle service is available from OR Tambo International Airport (Johannesburg) to the Sabi Sand, Timbavati and Kruger regions allowing one to get access to most of the establishments that we offer on Uyaphi.com. Baggage Restrictions
Baggage Restrictions on all light aircraft and private air charters into the Kruger, Sabi Sand, Timbavati, Thornybush, Kapama reserves are limited to 20kg per person(including your hand luggage and camera equipment) in soft-sided bag that has no wheels (this is strictly adhered to). This is due to space constraints on board the aircraft. This does not apply to commercial flights.

Numerous daily flights between Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban and even Zambia's Livingstone Airport, KMIA is the most popular airport in the region.

Skukuza Airport inside of the Kruger and bordering the World famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, this is the perfect airport in which to access the Lion Sands Game Reserve as well as the Private Tinga, Jocks and Rhino post concessions. Flights in here are offered by either SA Airlink or private charters with Airlink offering up 14 scheduled flights a week.
