Safari Itinerary
The perfect seven-day safari for families travelling to Botswana including the highlights of the Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta and the Kalahari Desert. All camps visited offer a 'Young explores' programme that keeps children seven years and older entertained and educated during the duration of the safari. An added bonus, parents have not been forgotten, parents can enjoy some peace and quiet while the kids are being cared for while participating in the 'Young explores' programme.
Days 1-2: Moremi Game Reserve
- Departing Maun of a charter flight we head for the Moremi Game Reserve.
- Okuti Camp and the Xakakanaka area await, an area of the Moremi teaming with wildlife and wildlife.
- The next few days are spent doing game drives and motorboat safari excursions.
- Okuti offers up family accommodation with a two bedroomed tented suite that is ideal for families.
- Child-friendly meal options are on offer as is a swimming pool.
- A 'Young Explorers' programme is on offer to keep the kids occupied, entertained and educated.

Days 3-4: Okavango Delta Footsteps
- Departing the Moremi Game Reserve via light aircraft, we head deeper in the Okavango Delta, the Shinde Concession to be exact.
- The stunning yet rustic Footsteps Camps awaits completely surrounded by the wilds of Botswana.
- Activities are based around game drives and walking safari options along with a mix of Mokoro and fishing options.
- Footsteps Camp offers up family accommodation with a two bedroomed tented suite (sleeping a max of 5) that is ideal for families.
- Safari activities are planned around you and your family.
- A 'Young Explorers' programme is on offer to keep the kids occupied, entertained and educated.

Days 5-6: Central Kalahari Game Reserve
- We depart the Okavango Delta and head deep into the Kalahari Desert, via light aircraft.
- Dinaka Camp awaits in a private reserve on the edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
- Safari activities are based around game drives and walking safaris.
- A 'sleep out deck (or star bed)' is the spot to spend a night out under the Kalahari Stars.
- Dinaka Camp offers up family accommodation with a two bedroomed tented suite that is ideal for families.
- A 'Young Explorers' programme is on offer to keep the kids occupied, entertained and educated.
- Accommodation: Dinaka Camp
Day 7: Moremi And Okavango Family Ends
- Today our safari ends with a flight back to Maun and onto our next destination or homeward bound.

Baines Camp

Chitabe Camp
Eight luxurious safari tents are found at Chitabe Camp that is located within a private concession of this wildlife reserve, offers day and night game drives as well as guided nature walks.
Zarafa Camp
Zarafa Camp, Botswana's first Relais & Châteaux camp has, in all honesty, no equal in our opinion. Located in the far North of Botswana in the 130 000 hectare Selinda Reserve, one of the more isolated areas in Africa.
