The Kalahari is a unique setting with spectacular desert wildlife, birdlife, amazing sunrises and sunsets and a flora based that is unique to the world that surrounds.
A setting that where families and couples will feel equally at home, a romantic lodge at heart, pair Dinaka with a stay at Kanana, Okuti or Shinde and one is in for a Botswana safari like very few others can come close to offering.
Seven large tented suites perfect for couples or friends travelling together. All are on raised wooden decks with twin or king-sized bedding, en-suite bathroom facilities (both indoor and outdoor showers) and viewing deck.
Two 2 bedroomed tented suites are available for families, ideal for keeping a family of 4 under one roof while on safari in the Kalahari.
All suites overlook a permanent waterhole that does attract a fair amount of wildlife and birdlife.
A "Sleep Out Deck" offers guests a panoramic views of the sunrises and sunsets and the opportunity to spend the night under the magnificent African night sky. A two storey wooden platform with table, chairs and bedding is the chance to experience the sights and sounds of the Kalahari safe and sound in the knowledge that one is safe from the surrounding wildlife.
Meals at Dinaka Camp are up there with the same standards set by her sister camps; Kanana, Okuti and Shinde. In a nutshell no matter the time of the day one is in for a right royal treat.
The central guest area looms large as the Kalahari Desert stretches out in all directions, with a large thatched roof and wooden flooring. This is an area that hides all from the heat of the Kalahari all the while showcasing modern African decor.
A swimming pool with sun loungers is the spot popular for escaping the heat as well as just plain old relaxing.
