Potato Bush Camp, a small and exclusive safari camp located on the banks of the Zambezi River in a very remote corner of the Lower Zambezi National Park. A camp that is perfect for those seeking out an experience is all about what surrounds as opposed to the absolute in luxury.
With a stunning panoramic view overlooking the Zambezi River and Zambezi escarpment, the camp is nestled under Mahogany, Sausage, Winter Thorn and Acacia Tortillas Trees, all of which offer excellent shade from the heat of the day.
With professionally guides safari activities that include game drives, night drives and walking safaris as well as canoeing, fishing and boating excursions, what more could one ask for.
Potato Bush Camp offers up four tented suites, three beautiful safari suites and one 2-bedroom family suite.
The three safari suites comprise a spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom with twin showers, twin basins and a full-size four-claw bathtub. Large folding doors lead onto the large balcony which hosts a 2-person hammock and a private plunge pool.
The two-bedroomed family suite is perfect for a family of four or a close group of friends; both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom facilities with twin showers, twin basins and a full-size four-claw bathtub. A shared lounge area and plunge pool.

The cuisine on offer is best described as African inspired fusion. All meals are prepared fresh daily with only the freshest ingredients sourced locally. The chef and their team in the kitchen take great pride in their offerings.

The central guest area at Potato Bush Camp is the social hub of this small and intimate safari camp; one has access to two lounges and a small library, a communal dining area and a fully stocked bar.
Outdoors, under shade lies a firepit and seating for those after-dinner drink under the Zambian stars. A boma for those delicious dinners is located just off the side of the main area.
The central guest area and tented suites are connected by raised timber walkways, limiting the impact of guests on the surrounding pristine environment.
