Amanzi Camp is a small and intimate safari option positioned above a Zambezi River in a remote corner of the Lower Zambezi National Park. Surrounded by the African bushveld's raw and pure beauty with fantastic wildlife sightings and exceptional birdlife (+ 500 species recorded).

Safari activities all led by experienced guides include game drives, night drives, canoeing, boating and fishing excursions and let us not forget the chance to partake in a day trip down the Mapata Gorge.
With only four luxuriously appointed and large safari suites, Amanzi Camp is that perfect option for guests looking for a more private and intimate safari experience when on safari in Zambia's Lower Zambezi National Park.
All suites are positioned on raised wooden decks with views out over the Ngwenya channel. A large bedroom and lounge area lead into an en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet, hot water shower and his and her hand basins.
A viewing deck with seating is the perfect spot to kick back and relax with binoculars in hand trying to spot as much wildlife and birdlife as possible.
A delicious fusion between African and Western cuisines, the head chef and his team, prepare meals from only the finest and freshest locally sourced ingredients available. From continental breakfasts to buffet styled lunches, from high tea served on the viewing deck to the three-course dinner paired with South African wines.
Specific dietary requests are catered for, although not all, please advise when booking.
The tented central guest area at Amanzi Camp overlooks the Ngwenya channel and a mosaic of islands, the islands are home to herds of both elephants and buffalo.
The central guest area is small and offers up a lounge, undercover dining area and a fully stocked bar. Outdoors, a sunken viewing deck, dining area and fire pit await, off to the side, a swimming pool is available for those wanting/needing to escape the summer heat.
WiFi is available near the lounge.
Amanzi Camp offers up fantastic wildlife viewing opportunities on either game drives or nights, or even walking safaris in the Kulefu woodlands and surrounding areas. Birding watching and photography is exceptional with the Lower Zambezi National Park playing host to approximately 500 species, the summer months are best for birding.
Canoeing, boating and fishing excursions on the Zambezi River are must-do options, a highlight excursion is the day trip down the Mapata Gorge.
