Reserve Information
Kapama offers up 13 000 hectares of wildlife and birdlife rich savannah and riverine forest were spotting Africas's 'Big 5' is within reach of guest who spend at least two nights on safari here. Kapama South Africa is the ideal getaway for romantics and families alike.

Rooms and Suites
Kapama Southern Camp offers guests a total of 25 suites that all provide high levels of luxury and space. All suites are under thatch, air-conditioned and offer views out into the surrounding bushveld.
15 (standard) suites have king-sized beds, full en-suite bathrooms and private verandah.
7 luxury suites offer the same as the above (standard) suites but with the addition of more space, private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor showers and an open fireplace.
3 large family suites include a private plunge pool, lounge and separate interleading en-suite bedroom. Perfect for a family of four.
Cuisine and Wine
Both breakfasts and lunches are served in the elegant thatched dining room that is open sided with views of wildlife and the Kapama Reserve. A good selection of wines is on view in the dining room.
Dinners are generally (weather depending) set out in the traditional boma area where chefs prepare a diverse selection of meals for all to enjoy.
Lodge Facilities
The swimming pool area with shaded sundecks is the spot to be on those summer days.
A bar near the pool offers guests tantalising cocktails, cold drinks, wine and icy beers.
The indoor lounge area offers views of the surrounding scenery and wildlife and is also perfect for kicking back and reading a good book.
Safari Activities
Included in the rate when staying at any of the Kapama lodges are two daily game drives and a bushwalking experience. Both these activities are led by highly trained guides and trackers ensuring a safe yet knowledgeable safari experience.

Family Friendly
Children of all ages are welcome, Kapama Southern Camp does offer three family suites, and child orientated activities and meals.
Kids under the age of 6 are not permitted on game drives except for the kid's activity drive aptly named the "Bush Bumble".
Spa and Wellness
Kapama is now taking the concept of the safari spa to new heights; two spa facilities are available for guests staying within the reserve, i.e., the Karula Spa or the River Lodge Spa.
Karula Spa offers four treatment rooms, a fitness centre, steam room, and a pool with built-in loungers and underwater jets.
River Lodge Spa offers six treatment rooms, mini gym, and pool all overlooking a waterhole.
Dermalogica and Matisse are used for all treatments and massages.
Either one of these spa options is must for all when visiting the Kapama Game Reserve.
