Lake Kariba Lodges
Lake Kariba, the worlds second-largest man-made dam (lake) offers visitors game viewing, fish, boat cruises and numerous water activities, not forgetting the summer birdlife that will astound. 290 kilometres long, 32 kilometres at the widest and with a maximum depth of 120 metres, Kariba is a sight to behold from any location and as far at the eye can see.
Matusadona National Park found on the lakes Southern shores offers up large herds of elephants and cape buffalo as well as exceptional views of Lake Kariba and her numerous islands.
We are limited as to the number of Zimbabwe lodges and camp options in this area as the numbers have dropped ever since the political issues that the country has faced over the past two decades. On saying that, the establishments that we do offer are brilliant in every way possible.
