Guests can enjoy numerous safari activities within the Ongava Reserve, including morning, afternoon and sunset game drives, walks and bird watching as well as 4x4 safaris into Etosha National Park itself.
One can either self-drive, fly in option, guided safari or use a road transfer to get to the Ongava Reserve; the choice is yours and is budget-dependent.

Anderssons at Ongava offers guests eight beautiful safari suites that reflect the natural environment of the area. Each suite has a private viewing deck with a 180-degree panorama, providing guests with an incredible vantage point to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
Each suite of the seven safari suites is designed with comfort and luxury in mind, featuring all the amenities you need to make your stay unforgettable. From private decks where you can watch wildlife wander by to a small lounge / sitting area with a writing desk through to stunning bathrooms with outdoor showers, every detail has been considered to ensure that you enjoy every moment of your stay.
A family suite at Anderssons consists of two safari suites, each with its own en-suite bathroom and entrance, linked by a short wooden walkway. This layout allows parents to have some privacy and the children some independence, all the while allowing for some incredible family time.
The eight luxurious safari suites all offer spacious and luxurious en-suite bathrooms with separate toilets, indoor shower and outdoor shower options, double vanity basin and hot and cold running water.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, electronic safes and 220V power.
During the winter months, cosy hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided to help keep you warm.
Cuisine And Wine
Anderssons At Ongava offers a variety of culinary experiences, from an indoor dining room with beautiful waterhole views and surrounding bushveld to an undercover and open-air dining area perfect for enjoying the fresh air and sounds of Africa's wildlife.

Camp Facilities

Indoors one can find a dining room with a bar area, a large lounge area with a small library, a fireplace, and a small curio shop.
Outdoors, an open-air dining area, an infinity pool and a fire pit area.
Adjoining the lounge is a sunken observation terrace that is also a great spot to relax with a camera in hand whilst taking in the wildlife at the waterhole.
There is an infinity-edge swimming pool just off to the side of the main central guest area with stunning views out over the waterhole.
There is also wi-fi service available in and around the central guest area, as is a laundry service.
Safari Activities
The Ongava Game Reserve is a haven for safari enthusiasts, with plenty of safari activities to keep visitors entertained. Some of the most popular activities include game drives and nature walks, both of which offer opportunities to see a variety of wildlife up close.
Visitors can also enjoy bird watching, visit the research centre, and approach black rhino and white rhino on foot.
