Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Aberdare Mountain Range
- The safari departs from two hotels within Nairobi, i.e. the Tamarind Tree Hotel and the Safari Park Hotel
- We drive north in the direction of the Aberdare Mountain range arriving at the Outspan restaurant in time for lunch.
- An afternoon transfer from Outspan to Treetops is on the cards.
- Set in a forest glade, Treetops offers something a little different with a waterhole that attracts wildlife day in and day out.
- The waterhole is floodlit, and there is also an underground viewing platform.
- Meals: Dinner
- Accommodation: Treetops
Day 2: Lake Nakuru
- Breakfast and an early morning start to the days see us heading towards the spectacular Lake Nakuru.
- We arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch.
- Afternoon game drive in the national park with the chance of spotting flamingoes, Black and White rhinos as well as Rothschild Giraffe.
- We return to the lodge at sunset.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve
- After breakfast, we depart Lake Nakuru for the highlight of our safari, the Masai Mara.
- We arrive at Keekorok Lodge in time for lunch and a short siesta.
- Our first proper game drive in the Masai Mara takes place this afternoon.
- We arrive back at the lodge as sunsets for sundowners and dinner.

Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve
- Today is all about game drives in the Masai Mara with both morning and afternoon options available.
- It is possible to pre-book an optional early morning Balloon Safari at an additional cost.

Day 5: Mt Kenya and Masai Mara Safari Safari Ends
- An early breakfast sees us departing the Masai Mara and heading back to Nairobi.
- We cross the vast plains of the Great Rift valley floor with the chance of spotting more wildlife along the way.
- We arrive back in Nairobi in the early afternoon where we are dropped off at the hotels that we where originally picked up.

Mara Porini Camp
The Mara Porini Camp has only 6 tented suites sited in the shade of Yellow-barked Acacia trees along the banks of the Laetoli, a permanent spring, the tents are spacious and each has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower.
Galdessa Camp
The riverside location of the lounge and dining room of Galdessa Camp ensure frequent wildlife sightings without the need to leave camp, as the game seeks relief from the heat of the day in the cool waters of the Galana River.
