These two separate houses are ideal for those who want the freedom to set the pace of their safari escape. Suitable for a family and ideal for a small group of friends, each house has access to its own private guide, private safari vehicle and private chef.
If there ever was a perfect 'home away from home' in the Masai region of Kenya, Mara Bush Houses would be it.
Mara Bush Houses comprise two separate safari houses, namely, Mara House and Acacia House. Each of these houses offers three bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of six guests each.
Mara House includes; three en-suite bedrooms, a lounge with fireplace, dining room, study (with TV), kitchen, verandah and courtyard entrance.
Acacia House includes; two downstairs en-suite bedrooms, one mezzanine level bedroom (perfect for kids), a lounge with fireplace, dining room, study/ TV lounge, kitchen and verandah
Both Mara House and Acacia House offer that classic yet luxurious feel when it comes to furnishing and decor, along the lines of an upmarket holiday house.
All meals are prepared in-house by one's private chef in the centralised kitchen and served up in the privacy of each house. All ingredients are sourced locally or brought in from Nairobi to ensure only these best and freshest meals.
Mealtimes are at your discretion and will be served when you and the family are ready.
Bush breakfast, lunches, and picnics are available.
All dietary requirements are catered for with advanced notice.
Mara Bush House and Acacia Bush House are separated by a short walkway and a shared swimming pool. The swimming pool is the only aspect of the stay here that is a shared experience. Other than this, the two houses are completely independent of each other.
Morning and afternoon game drives in your private safari vehicle with your private guide; honestly, what could be better. Should one wish, a full day safari out in the wilds of the Mara North Conservancy is an option, with a picnic lunch included.
As this is a private conservancy, night drives are available.
Short nature walks around the camp are on offer; these are ideal for those family groups with children, an excellent way to experience and learn about the surrounding nature.
A few optional activities are available, including cultural visits and balloon flights over the Masai Mara.
Either one of the Mara Bush Houses is perfect for families. Mara Bush House is suitable for larger families with three bedrooms, and Acacia Bush House is ideal for smaller families groups with only two bedrooms.
With a private chef and guide at one's sole discretion, your safari can be customised entirely around your families wants and needs.
