AndBeyond Bateleur Camp, a stunning example of luxury and privacy when visiting the famed wildlife-rich Masai Mara region of Kenya. Located on the edge of a small natural forest with magnificent vistas out over the surrounding plains.
An eighteen room tented safari camp is uniquely split into two separate camps (North and South Camp) with separate central guest areas and nine suites. This is to offer an even more exclusive and intimate experience.
Being located within a private wildlife concession allows for nature walks and, of particular interest, night drives. This is over and above the incredible morning and afternoon game drives on offer and cultural activities.
The perfect luxurious safari camp waits for honeymooners, romantics, wildlife photographers, birders, and not forgetting families.
All eighteen tented safari suites offer incredible and timeless views over the surrounding plains from their large private viewing decks and day bed. Large open plan bedrooms with a small lounge, large comfortable beds, and en-suite bathroom facilities with indoor and outdoor showers and a free-standing bathtub.
The absolute in luxury is standard through all eighteen safari suites.

The team in the kitchens at AndBeyond Bateleur Camp are some of the best in Kenya; the cuisine that is on offer is also up there with the best in Africa. If one is looking for an upmarket luxury safari experience with exceptional dining options, simply put, look no further.
All ingredients are fresh, with most vegetable produce coming from the camps own vegetable gardens (well worth the visit if you have a few minutes free).
One can enjoy meals in a variety of locations around camp; the privacy of ones own tented suite, the swimming pool areas, on the outdoor decks of each camp or in the boma at South Camp.
Halaal and other dietary requests are available with advance notice.
AndBeyond Bateleur Camp is separated into two camps, each with 9 tented suites and its own central guest area. Confusing? Well, yes and no in the same breathe. Having two separate camps in one works out to a more intimate and private experience for all guests, with the only share facilities being the gym and the massage sala.
Each thatched central guest area offers guests a lounge, small library, a gin bar and indoor dining area (a boma is available at South Camp). Both camps also offer separate swimming pools with sun loungers and an outdoor dining area with a firepit.
WiFi is available throughout the central guest area.
Safari activities included in the price when staying at Bateleur Camp, include; game drives, night drives, nature walks, Maasai dance, Maasai talks and Africa Foundation visits. All activities are led by highly trained and professional guides. Private safari vehicles are available for hire, perfect for honeymooners or those with children in tow.
