Reserve Information

The Duba Plains Concession is a 33 000-hectare private reserve located in the northeast corner of Botswana's Okavango Delta. Its unique flooding cycles characterise the area, creating diverse habitats from permanent wetlands to seasonal floodplains and woodlands. The flooding cycles in the dry season (December to April) form perfect environments for zebra, wildebeest, kudus, and tsessebes to thrive. The area becomes a water wonderland with plenty of aquatic life during the wet season, which is from May to November.

The Duba Plains Concession (Great Plains Conservation) provides an ideal habitat for various species due to its ample supply of grasses and plants that attract herbivores such as elephants, buffalo, and lechwe. Furthermore, these conditions attract predators such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs – making it an ideal destination with excellent game viewing.
