Introduction
Chiefs Camp is a luxurious bush camp positioned on Chiefs Island within the private Mombo Concession in the Moremi Game Reserve. The "predator capital of Africa", wild dog, lion, cheetah in addition to leopard are plentiful, and visitors delight in outstanding opportunities to interact with this incredible environment.
At Chief's visitors can frequently view wildlife without having to leave camp, from the suites to the central guest area, wildlife is always on show (in particular the birdlife in the surrounding trees).
The lasting impression of the camp is one of remoteness, that constant feeling that one is alone with nature.
Rooms and Suites
Eleven private, permanent luxurious bush pavilions at Chiefs Camp are equipped for quintessential privacy and comfort, as well as offering you a front row seat for this rich and also satisfying African adventure.

The ten Bush Pavilions with their thatched roofs and private viewing decks offer up a small lounge and seating area, bedding in either twin or king-sized configuration and en-suite amenities with an outdoor and indoor showers, large bathtub and his and her basins.
The& Geoffrey Kent Luxury Suite is all about the utmost in privacy, superlative comfort and space (all 620m² of private space), the suite comes with your own vehicle and dedicated guide, as well as a personal chef, waiter and a housekeeper. The suite offers up a kitchen, indoor lounge, private boma and secluded deck areas to mention only but a few.
Cuisine and Wine
Cuisine, as one would expect, is of the highest standards. Only the freshest and finest ingredients are used by the skilled team in the kitchen. Dining locations are varied and include both indoor and outdoor venues as well as more intimate affairs on one's private verandah and not forgetting the boma area with open fireplace.
Advance noticed and Chief's will cater for most dietary requirements. The new pizza deck with a pizza oven is a firm favourite with both adults and children alike.
Other than premium import alcohol (a separate bill) all other beverages are included; bottled water, cold drinks a really good selection of South African wines, local beers and a selection of spirits are all available.
Lodge Facilities
The central guest area complex at Chief's camp houses the dining area, curio shop, library and reception area, all with luxury furnishing and stunning views.
Just to the side of the central guest area, there is a swimming pool with sun loungers and views out over the waters of the Okavango.
Safari Activities
Game viewing possibilities consist of day-to-day expeditions in open-sided four-wheel drive vehicles in addition to tranquil mokoro excursions through narrow Delta channels in the flood season (subject to water levels).

Family Friendly
Families with children six years and older are most welcome at Chief's Camp. Family accommodation and meals options, as well as activities and a play retreat, are available.

There is a treatment room at the camp with a range of treatments using Thalgo and Africology products. A small gym area is also an option to keep one's fitness levels up, it is here the gym that yoga is offered for those interested.
