Introduction
Sango Safari Camp is situated just outside the traditional village of Khwai, bordering the World famous Moremi Game Reserve. Sango offers guests the perfect base from which to explore the fantastic wildlife and culture of this region.
The Khwai area offers a unique variety of safari experiences due to its ideal position on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Although this region is known as the drier part of the Okavango Delta, the presence of the Khwai river provides a year-round water source attracting one of the most fantastic wildlife concentrations in Botswana, and allows Sango to offer both land-based and water-based activities.
This safari camp is more for those on a budget and looking for something that will not cost the earth all the while getting a safari experience that ranks up there with the more expensive lodges in the area.
Rooms and Suites
Six large Meru styled tented suites await, each with en-suite bathroom facilities including an outdoor bucket shower, handcrafted furnishings, viewing decks and very comfortable bedding.
Suites are more than adequate for those whose sole purpose of staying is wildlife and birdlife of the Khwai region.
Cuisine and Wine
Whether it be breakfast, brunch, lunch, sundowners or dinner at Sango Safari Camp, one is in for a treat. A simple but yet tasty affair awaits with all meals being prepared with the freshest of produce by a skilled team in the kitchen.
Both indoor and outdoor dining locations are offered, weather depending of course.

- 3hr game drive (morning and afternoon)
- Night game drive
- Cultural tours and walk around Khwai village

Family Friendly
Families with children over 2 years old are welcome at Sango Safari Camp. Children will need to have a genuine interest in wildlife as there are little to no other activities to keep the little ones entertained. Mokoro The Okavango Delta
