Zambezi Expeditions Camp, a semi-mobile camp located within Zimbabwe's famed Mana Pools National Park, a fantastic option from which one can explore and experience all that is on offer.
Game drives, walking safaris, canoeing and fishing excursions, wildlife and birdlife sighting and photographic opportunities, this is what Mana Pools and the Zambezi Expeditions Camp is all about.
The camp lacks many of the luxuries that other camps in the area offer and for a good reason, this camp is aimed directly at people who want and need to get away from the modern world.
Note; the camp is closed, January to march.
Six Merus styled safari tented offers up comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot water bucket showers. Zambezi Expeditions is set along the edge of a floodplain near the Zambezi River; wildlife does meander through the camp, one has always to be vigilant when staying here (hence no children).
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are hosted either indoors, outdoors or by the fire pit. Meals are prepared from fresh and wholesome ingredients sourced locally and transferred into the camp.
Zambezi Expeditions Camp is a basic get back to and experience nature camp, a classic safari camp if you want with only the basics on offer.
A small tented lounge and indoor dining area, outdoor dining area and firepit, and that is it.
Generator powered battery charging facilities area available.
We would suggest at least a three-night stay to participate in all the activities on offer.
