Nehimba Lodge is located deep in the heart of the Hwange National Park within its own private safari concession. A small safari lodge that offers guests exceptional wildlife and birdlife sightings year-round.
Between game drives, one can sit back and relax while herds of elephant and buffalo come down to the water hole and drink; this is a great chance for photographers to get up close and personal with these amazing animals.
The surrounding mopane woodlands and Kalahari sandveld of this conservation area offer up exceptional game viewing, day drives and night drives, walking safaris, sundowners with evening drinks, and the list goes on. Simply put, this area within the Hwange is stunning in all the right ways.

Rooms and Suites
Nine luxuriously appointed thatched chalets are built on teak decks with excellent views of the waterhole; all suites other up large bedrooms, en-suite bathroom facilities with flushing toilet and outdoor shower, as well as a viewing deck.
The room amenities at Nehimba Lodge include fans, mosquito nets and mosquito repellent, security air horns, mobile LED lamps, hair dryers, bathrobes, and coffee and tea.
Cuisine and Wine
Dishes prepared by a skilled team in the kitchen comprised of only the freshest and best ingredients sourced from local farmers. Meals are served either inside or outside on the viewing deck, wether dependent.

The thatched open-fronted main guest area overlooking a spectacular water hole offers guests a lounge area, indoor dining room and outdoor dining areas, a bar with a view and, of course a swimming pool to top it all off with.
Wi Fi is available, albeit it, not the fasted due to location.
Activities
Nehimba is located within its own private concession within the Hwange National Park; it is from here that one departs twice daily for safari activities that include; game drives and night drives and viewing wildlife on foot.
Expert safari guides and trackers conduct all wildlife activities in open 4x4 safari vehicles.
The safari activities available at Nehimba Lodge in Hwange National Park are game drives, game walks, night drives, and the Nehimba viewing platform.
Wildlife is exceptional, with predators (lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and cheetah), huge herds of elephants and buffalo, as well as numerous species of plains game. One will most certainly not be disappointed.
The dry season (Zimbabwe winter) is best for wildlife, while the wet season (Zimbabwe summer) is best for birdlife
The lodge and private concession are also located close to the Mandavu Dam and the famed Nehimba Seep, which offers visitors a chance to view some of the wildlife that inhabits the area.
