The central guest area is all under canvas with wooden decking overlooks a waterhole teeming with the best wildlife that Hwange has to offer. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas, outdoor fire pit, small lounge and library and swimming pool are found here.
Safari activities at Little Makalolo Camp are based around the surrounding wildlife and birdlife that Hwange National Park is famed for, especially the large herds of elephants that can sometimes top + 1000.
Wildlife sightings around the camp include; Lion, large herds of elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino, hyena, giraffe, sable, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck and reedbuck to mention but a few.
Birdlife is spectacular (400+ species) in the summer months, this is when birders should be travelling in South Africa.
