Davisons Camp is situated in a grove of false mopane trees and overlooks a waterhole that is teeming with both wildlife and birdlife throughout the day and night.
One of Davisons unique aspects is access to the Ngamo Plains, one of the best wildlife areas and game drive destinations within the Hwange National Park.

Rooms and Suites
Eight tented safari suites offer guests a classic tented camp stay with large bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms and a small verandah. The interesting aspect of the design of the tented suites is the large windows.
All tented suites look out over a waterhole.
The tents at Davisons Camp are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you would expect from a high-end camp or safari lodge. As part of the Wilderness Safaris portfolio, one can expect nothing but the best.
Each tent at Davisons has an electrical outlet and a fan to keep you cool, as well as WiFi internet access so you can stay connected. There is also a verandah where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
Cuisine and Wine
As with all Wilderness Safari camps, the cuisine on offer at Davisons is of the highest quality no matter the time of day and is always prepared from the freshest and best ingredients that the region has to offer.
Both indoor dining room and outdoor dining area are available and used depending on the weather and time of day. Sunset drinks and snacks are without question the highlight any safari or trip to Hwange National Park (other than the wildlife, of course); sunsets are stunning.

Facilities
The central guest area at Davisons is all under canvas with great views out over the bushveld of Hwange and the waterhole.
The indoor dining room and outdoor dining areas, a small lounge, bar area, fire pit and a swimming pool can all be found in and around this main guest area.
The central guest area is a great space for one to sit back and relax in the surrounding wildlife at the water hole offers up great photographic opportunities throughout the day.
Activities
A stay at Davisons Camp is all about adventures, safari adventures in 4x4 safari vehicles, walking safaris led by extremely knowledgeable guides and should one wish; there is an optional cultural tour available.
The safari activities on offer at Davisons include game drives, night drives, and guided walks. Predators and plains game abound in almost every direction that one looks, bird species are plentiful, especially in the summer months of Hwange National Park.
Guests can also choose to partake in optional cultural and village tours, which can be arranged on request.
The camp is situated in a prime location for wildlife viewing, and guests are sure to see an array of both wildlife and birdlife during their stay.

Children over the age of 8 years are most welcome; suitable accommodation, activities and menu are available. One family unit is available, so the need to book in advance is essential.
