The camp is located within an easy three-hour drive from the Town of Victoria Falls, should one wish to self-drive or take a road transfer, around a 45-minute flight by chartered light aircraft.

Rooms and Suites
All eight thatched chalets offer fantastic views of the waterhole.
Large spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathroom facilities with indoor showers, and a verandah that is the perfect spot to sit back with the camera in hand and enjoy the wildlife as they come down to drink at the waterhole.
All chalets have electronic safes, 220v electricity through an inverter and a universal bank of adaptors for charging devices.
Cuisine and Wine
Camp Hwange offers guests an array of culinary experiences, with an ever-changing menu that features the freshest local ingredients. Whether you're enjoying a hearty breakfast, a light lunch or a sumptuous dinner, you can be sure that the food will be delicious and satisfying.
Vegetarians and those with food allergies are well catered for, and advance notice is appreciated.
As for wine, the camp has an excellent selection to choose from.

Facilities
The thatched central guest area offers a lounge area and small library, indoor dining rooms and bar, as well as an open fire pit for after-dinner drinks.
The main guest area offers excellent views throughout the day and night of the waterhole; a limited WiFi signal is also available to guests here.
The camp is all about a Hwange wilderness experience, nothing more, nothing less and this is reflected throughout. If you are searching for that classic safari camp, then this is it.
Activities
Safari activities and game viewing at Camp Hwange are based around game drives, night drives and walking options in both the camp's private concession and the National park itself.
With professional licensed guides, the walking safari options are highly recommended, one's chance to get up close and personal with Africa's wildlife, big and small.
Wildlife in the Sinamatella is spectacular, and sightings can include lion, leopard, elephant, wild dog, Cape buffalo, as well as numerous species of plains game. Birding is equally excellent, especially in the summer months.
Night drives are exclusively operated within the private concession.
Child Friendly
Children over eight years are welcome but need to be under constant supervision of their parents or guardian at all times.
Please note; that there are no babysitting or child-sitting services available.
