
Kruger Mammal List
The Kruger National Park is without question one of Africa's premier game-watching destinations and for a good reason, 147 mammal species that occur within the Park and surrounding reserves.
Interested in spotting the famed "Big 5" well that might just be easier than you might expect with estimated numbers as follows; Rhinoceros +-7000 (both white and black), Buffalo +- 27000, Leopard +- 2000, Lion +- 2800 and Elephants +- 12000.
Rare and endangered Wild Dog (+- 150) and Cheetah (+- 120) can also be found although their numbers are on the low side.
