Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge offers an unparalleled safari experience. The entire Tsavo Lodge is raised on high stilts above watering holes and feeding pastures, offering a spectacular view of the wildlife from above and all around.
Situated in the midst of the Taita Hills Sanctuary, a private wildlife conservancy of 28,000 acres at the foot of the Taita Hills bordering Tsavo West National Park, one of the world's largest game reserves.

Rooms and Suites
Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is a truly unique concept consisting of 96 rooms elevated on stilts, each overlooking a waterhole and linked by suspended walkways.
All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms with permanent showers and WC, running hot & cold water and 240V power. Rooms at the Lodge are on two levels with double, twin or triple beds depending on room type. All rooms have views of watering holes. The rooms are luxuriously furnished with well-appointed bathrooms.
Cuisine and Wine
Dining at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is an elegant and intimate affair. Well-appointed tables and a relaxed atmosphere enhance the culinary journey. Enjoy excellent cooking in the light and airy dining area or outside dining in the bush overlooking the Taita Hills flora and fauna. The elevated restaurant, and the bar a level higher, offer stunning views of the sanctuary and the ideal vantage points to view the game as you enjoy your meal.
Bura Restaurant; This is the main restaurant (seats 150 people); it overlooks the watering holes, serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking counters preparing speciality dishes. Cuisines include Pan-African, Pan-European and Pan-Asian. The salad buffet has a wide variety of salads using the freshest ingredients and herbs. The dessert buffet has a selection of mouthwatering desserts. Vegetarian dishes are always available, and guests with any special dietary requirements are also catered for.
The Vura Bar Lounge and adjoining shaded terrace above the Bura Restaurant provide spectacular views of the main waterhole and surrounding grasslands and are ideal for relaxing and having your favourite cocktail or coffee while watching the wildlife below.

At night, the waterholes in front of the game lodge are floodlit, ensuring that you enjoy an uninterrupted view of the numerous animals arriving to quench their thirst.
