Elephant Bedroom Camp is an intimate and spectacular classic safari camp deep in the Samburu National Reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River under a canopy of riverine forest and doum palms. Elephant Bedroom offers guests an authentic African safari experience surrounded by the fantastic wildlife and birdlife of Kenya's Samburu National Reserve.
It is not uncommon for elephants to meander through the camp, and for birders, the birdlife in camp is rather good; always have that camera fully charged and ready to go.
A stay here is more about the wildlife experience of the Samburu than of the luxuries in camp, but on saying that, Elephant Bedroom Camp has everything that one would possibly desire, including private plunge pools, WiFi, large tented suites and delicious cuisine. What more could one ask for?

Twelve large tented suites are available at Elephant Bedroom, each with a wooden verandah, plunge pool, outdoor seating area, king-sized or twin bed configurations, and en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets, double washbasins, running water (hot and cold), as well as a shower.
All tented suites offer up fantastic views out over the river and surrounding bushveld.

The tented central guest area plays host to an indoor dining area, bar and lounge (with a small library), leading outdoors to a large shaded wooden verandah that offers incredible views of the Ewaso Ngiro River and Samburu bushveld.
Birdlife surrounding the camp is rather good, and birders will delight in what can be spotted while sitting on the main viewing deck with a beer in hand.
