Positioned on the banks of the Ntiakitiak River within a thick forest, Mara Toto offers guests the very best of the Maasai Mara National Reserve and the private Mara North Conservancy. Wildlife and birdlife in this area are spectacular, with the annual migration being the highlight.

The tented central guest area at Mara Toto Camp is found under a canopy of Ebony trees within a small forest. A rustic area that offers up a small lounge, dining area, small library, bar and coffee station.

Outdoor, a fire pit is perfect for those nightcaps while listening to the sounds of Africa's wildlife.

The feel and decor are of that classic back-to-Africa feel, and at night, the camp is transformed into a wonderland by lanterns and candles.

Activities

Safari activities at Mara Toto Camp are based around game drives and game drives only. Professional guides in open-sided Toyota land cruisers showcase all that is the Mara, including the annual migration, wildlife and birdlife.

A must-do optional safari activity is hot-air ballooning over the Masai Mara; one should book this optional activity in advance of arrival in Kenya.

Child Friendly

Families with children six years and older are most welcome when sharing with parents (with one child per tented suite). Suitable bedding setups, meals, and a kids' program makes Mara Toto Camp perfect for small family groups.

On a side note, the camp is unfenced, and therefore children will need to be supervised at all times.
