Ol Pejeta Bush Camp, a stunning little safari camp positioned on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River in the heart of the famed 'big-5' Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
A host of safari activities within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy (some at additional cost), including; game drives, horse riding and walking safaris, are available. The activity that we highly recommend is the safari option to visit the last two 'northern white rhinos' left on planet Earth, a very sobering experience.
A bush camp that is perfect for individuals, couples, romantics and families alike.
Seven tented safari suites are available, including one family suite. Each has a wooden viewing deck, comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms with a flushing toilet and a hot-water bucket shower.
The family suite consists of a large viewing deck, two en-suite bedrooms and a lounge area that separates the two rooms, perfect for a family of 4 or even 5 at a squeeze.
The cuisine at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp will always be a hearty and scrumptious affair. Breakfasts with continental or English options, lunch buffet with salad, pasta and pizza, and a three-course dinner to top the day off.
Produce is sourced from a local women’s co-op or local farmers, ensuring tourism revenue stays within the local community.
Most dietary requests are catered for with advance notice.
The central guest area is located next to the Ewaso Ngiro River, with stunning views over the Ol Pejeta plains. A lounge with a small library, a fireplace for those chilly winter nights, an indoor dining room and a bar area, are all found in and around the central guest area.
A WiFi area is available should one need to keep in contact with the outside world.
Game drives are the included safari activities when staying at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp; highly trained and skilled guides inspire you with their knowledge while you explore this diverse conservancy.
Wildlife on view within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy includes; The Big Five, a dense population of plains game and in the region of 300 species of birdlife.
