Introduction
Gomoti Plains Camp, situated on the edge of the Gomoti river system deep in the Okavango Delta is reachable only by air charter followed by a 30-minute game drive. A camp that is literally in the middle of nowhere with her nearest neighbour being over 18 kilometres away.
Gomoti river system is known for its large concentrations of wildlife, predators and birdlife, it is here with only a maximum of 24 guests at any one time that a true safari experience awaits all that visit. Expect phenomenal wildlife encounters with the highlight of any stay being the chance to spot and watch African Wild Dogs in action.
Travel the waterways by motorboat and mekoro and traverse the Gomoti plains enthralling in the dense wildlife concentrations of the Gomoti area.
Rooms and Suites
Ten luxurious tented suites all decorated in that classic safari style each incorporating views out over the surrounding Okavango Delta. Raised on wooden decks with private verandahs, small lounge area, writing desk and comfortable bedding in either twin or king-sized guise.

Cuisine and Wine
A wonderful mixture of local cuisine with the freshest of local ingredients is prepared in that typical safari/ home cooked style by a team in the kitchen that are all Botswana born and bread.
Every meal (weather dependent) is served in a varying location from out under the African stars, to a bushveld setting, to a more formal event in the main dining area.
Lodge Facilities
The central guest area at Gomoti Plains Camp is host to an indoor dining area, lounge and small library as with view out over the Gomoti river and beyond into the Okavango Delta. An outdoor open fire-pit area is where one enjoys a glass of wine and the sounds of the African bushveld all under a canopy of stars.
A small swimming pool with sun loungers and great views is available for those seeking to escape the heat of a Botswana summer. There is also a small curio shop should you require a few souvenirs.
Safari Activities
Extensive water and land-based safari options are on the cards in an area of the Okavango Delta that offers visitors incredible wildlife diversity.

Family Friendly
Children and families of all ages welcome are most welcome at Gomoti Plains Camp. No babysitting options are available and should you wish kids 6 years and younger participate of game drives one will have to hire a private vehicle and guide.
We would recommend this lodge for families with kids over 12 years of age due to location and surrounding wildlife.
