Ngoma, The Perfect Safari Lodge Option From Which To Explore The Chobe National Park
Ngoma Safari Lodge is one of a handful of safari lodges positioned on the western edge of the Chobe National Park in the Chobe Forest Reserve, away from the maddening crowds of the Kasane side.
The lodge is located within a private concession bordering the park with some of the best views of the Chobe River ecosystem found anywhere in the area.
Ngoma Safari Lodge has eight large, thatched and air-conditioned suites, all with en-suite bathrooms (with both inside and outside showers), double basins, flush toilets and a dressing table.
There is a central dining, bar and lounge area with an open fireplace as well as a small library. The lodge has a swimming pool and sun deck overlooking the Chobe River flood plain, which is the perfect place to unwind after a day of safari activities.
Activities at Ngoma Safari Lodge are varied and include both morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, game walks (on request), river cruises, village visits and a variety of other cultural experiences.

With only eight luxury suites on offer, Ngoma Safari Lodge offers the ultimate in private and small groups safaris. All suites offer stunning views over flood plains below, which is teeming with unparalleled wildlife.
Each of the suites offers a private plunge pool and viewing deck, air conditioning as well as spacious indoor and outdoor living areas. Large double beds covered with mosquito nets all look out in the direction of the floodplains; the bathrooms offer his and hers hand basins, a large bath and two showers (one inside and one outside).
Cuisine and Wine
Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, all meals are of the highest quality and well presented in the lodge's dining room area on the main verandah overlooking the African vistas that surround one.
Private romantic dinners at Ngoma Safari Lodge can be set up on one's private viewing deck for those special romantic occasions.
Lodge Facilities
Ngoma Safari Lodges offers a central guest area that consists of a lounge, dining area, bar area and viewing platform and deck all overlooking the Chobe National Park and river.
A small plunge pool is set off to the side of the outdoor verandah.
The outdoor viewing platform at Ngoma Safari Lodge is where (weather depending) most meals are offered.
Wi-Fi is available in most public areas.
Safari Activities
Professional guides are available for morning and afternoon game drives in the Chobe National Park as well as walks; wildlife and birdlife sightings here are exceptional, so have that camera charged and ready to go.
Walks and night drives are conducted in the Chobe Forest Reserve as these activities are not permitted within National Parks in Botswana.
Boat cruises on the river are also on offer; there is nothing quite like watching the sunset while sipping a G&T.
