Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
- Upon arrival in Entebbe, transfer to your hotel
- This afternoon enjoy a trip to the botanical gardens and the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre
- Meals: Bed and Breakfast
- Accommodation: The Boma Entebbe
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
- Depart after early breakfast to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en route
- This afternoon visit the top of the falls before crossing the Nile on the ferry
- Murchison Falls National Park is named for the dramatic Murchison Falls, where the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
- Early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for lunch
- In the afternoon enjoy a boat trip to the base of the falls
- Murchison Falls National Park is the prime area for game-viewing is the peninsula between the Victoria and the Albert Niles, known as the Buligi Circuit
- The concentration of animals is highest in this area, and the lush patches of forest along the waterways and the conspicuous Borassus Palms, dotting the ridges and valleys in-between, add to the attraction of the park's landscape

Day 4: Kibale Forest
- After breakfast transfer to Kibale Forest with lunch en routes
- This is a scenic and interesting day trip
- Some 35km south of Fort Portal lies a vast piece of equatorial rainforest, the Kibale Forest National Park
- This recently established reserve is home to the highest concentration of primates in the world
- Eleven different species have been counted there, including Black-and-White and Red Colobus, L'Hoest's Monkeys and Galagos

Day 5: Kibale Forest
- After breakfast, enjoy a trek searching for chimps and other primates
- After lunch back in camp, there will be a guided walk in the Bogodi Swamp
- The main attraction for Kibale Forest, however, are the 500 Chimpanzees, which have been habituated to human visitors since 1992
- More than likely, the Chimps will be found on one of the huge figtrees where they spend the day, feeding on the sweet ripe fruits

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After breakfast, transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park with a short game drive en route
- After lunch, there will be an afternoon game drive
- This is a wonderful national park, sometimes dubbed 'the Pearl of Africa or Switzerland of Africa'
- Quite simply this fertile equatorial area is especially scenic, with two lakes connected by a channel overlooked by a high peninsula
- You will also find volcanic craters, grassy plains and tropical forest
- Meals: Full Board

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After a morning game drive and lunch, the rest of the afternoon will be on the Kazinga Channel
- The wide bio-diversity of habitats means that Queen Elizabeth National Park contains the most astonishing number of species - almost 100 types of mammal and 606 different birds!
- The Kasinga Channel alone is said to contain the world's largest concentration of hippos, but interestingly enough not many crocodiles!
- Other wildlife includes warthogs, buffalo, rare aquatic sitatunga antelope, giant forest hog, beautifully horned Uganda kob, topi, waterbuck, elephant and leopard

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a picnic lunch en route
- You will also visit the Maramagambo Forest and enjoy a walk to the bat caves
- In the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest live half the world's population of highly endangered Mountain Gorillas
- Visiting them is one of the most emotional wildlife encounters you will ever experience
- This pocket of huge primaeval forest in the Virunga Mountain range is one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Following an early breakfast, depart for a gorilla trek, returning to camp late afternoon
- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest has an eco-system that defines the very essence of the continent and has therefor been designated as a World Heritage Site
- The forest floor is damp and laden with leaf mould, matted vegetation and fallen vines, which serve to trip you up as you clamber up and down the slippery slopes in search of a glimpse of the elusive gorillas
- Searching up to altitudes of 6,500 feet (1,982 metres) can be exhausting but the rewards are worth it

Day 10: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Following an early breakfast depart for a gorilla trek, then return to camp late afternoon
- Meals: Full Board

Day 11: Lake Mburo
- Early morning departure for Lake Mburo with a game drive through the park
- Its a very special place every part of it is alive with, variety, interest and colour contains an extensive area of wetland one of the only two such habitats to be included within a National Park in Uganda
- It harbours several species of mammals, Zebras, Impala, Buffaloes, and birds. Comprising bill storks which are found nowhere else in the country
- Meals: Full Board

Day 12: Unspoilt Uganda Safari ends
- Transfer back to Entebbe for onward arrangements
