Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
- On our arrival at Entebbe International Airport, we are met and transferred to our hotel by a guide.
- Hotel No.5 in the leafy suburbs of Entebbe is a stylish boutique hotel.
- Facilities include; swimming pool, spa, gym, bar and restaurant.
- Meals: Dinner at own expense
- Accommodation: Hotel No.5
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- We depart Entebbe after breakfast at Hotel No.5 for the Kihihi airstrip, 90-minutes away from Bwindi.
- Buhoma Lodge in the National Park is our home for the next three nights.
- Afternoon at leisure with optional activities available including; forest walks, community visits and the Batwa Pygmies.
- Meals: All meals and local drinks

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- We rise at the crack of dawn, as today we are gorilla trekking.
- One of the most humbling and enthralling wildlife experiences imaginable awaits.
- Gorilla trekking is strenuous with treks ranging from 45 mins up to eight hours, at high altitudes in hot African conditions, be prepared with suitable clothing and shoes
- We return to Buhoma Lodge sometime during the course of the day.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- Today is all about exploring the area that surrounds the Bwindi.
- Optional activities include forest walks, a visit to a local school/orphanage/hospital or Batwa pygmy village, and some local curio shopping.
- For those who have bought a second gorilla trekking permit, it is off trekking for you.
- Meals: All meals and local drinks

Days 5-6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Departing the Bwindi after breakfast we head in the direction of the famed Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- The duration of today's transfers is around a 3-hour drive.
- Our home for the next two nights is the Ishasha Wilderness Camp, after check-in, we head out for our first game drive.
- Over the course of the next few days, we explore and hopefully spot; elephants, leopard, lions, hippos, buffalo, Uganda kob, baboon, and many species of birds.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Today we head to the '‘Mweya' region of the Queen Elizabeth National Park where we enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
- The Kazinga Channel is a 32-kilometre long natural channel that links Lake George and Lake Edward.
- This is the perfect end to a safari, sit back and relax as we pass all the wildlife and birdlife on the banks of the channel.
- Mweya Lodge offers some of the best scenery in the whole of Uganda.

Day 8: Uganda Primate Safari Ends
- An early start sees us depart for Kyambura Gorge and Chimpanzee trekking.
- A forest walk and with a bit of luck the with Chimpanzees will be resting or eating near the forest floor.
- Sighting do depend on the weather.
- A transfer to the nearby Mweya airstrip for our return flight to Entebbe.
