Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe
- On arrival in Uganda at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel for the evening.
- After check-in a quick orientation from your guide on what to expect for the next few days.
- The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the sights and sounds of the city.
- This is also a good chance to stock up on the items you might have forgotten to buy.
- Meals: None (dinner at a local restaurant at your cost)
- Accommodation: Protea Entebbe Hotel
Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Breakfast and an early start to the day awaits.
- Leaving Entebbe we officially start our "Glimpse of Gorillas safari" by heading towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- We stop regularly to stretch our legs and take in the surrounding scenery.
- Covering a total of 331 km² and with an altitude of between 1160 and 2607 metres above sea level, the Bwindi is home to roughly half of the world's mountain gorillas.
- 90 species of mammal and 11 species of primates are found within the park.
- Birdlife is nothing short spectacular as well.
- On arriving at our home for the night, it is all about preparing for the trek the next morning.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- An early breakfast and we depart on our gorilla trek.
- The trek is quite strenuous at times so make sure that your clothing is comfortable and boots are well worn in.
- When we find these gentle giants a fair amount of time is spent in their vicinity, observing, photographing and simply smiling to one's self that you are actually here.
- Returning to the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Entebbe
- We leaving the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after a leisurely breakfast and head back to Entebbe for the night.
- Again stopping en-route at markets, villages and scenic spots.
- on arrival at The Boma Guest House, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
- Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Glimpse of Gorilla Safari ends
- Our time together has come to an end.
- A transfer to the airport for connecting flights.
- A warm goodbye from Uganda.
