Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
- Around 14h00, we join our safari and depart Arusha for the Lake Manyara National Park.
- Along the way we pass and photograph picturesque African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations.
- We arrive at our lodge in time for sundowners with views out over the escarpment and Rift Valley.
- Meals: Full Board

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
- An early start to the day with a delicious breakfast before we head out on our first game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park.
- We return to the lodge for lunch and check-out.
- Departing Lake Manyara, we continue our journey past the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the vast plains of the Serengeti.
- Our game drive today is from the main entrance gate to our lodge.
- We arrive at our lodge in time for dinner.
- Meals: Full Board

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
- Today is all about game drives in the Serengeti with both morning and afternoon drives on offer.
- Should one wish, an early morning hot air balloon safari is available at an additional cost (highly recommended).
- Meals: Full Board

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
- An early start to the day sees us retrace our drive back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- We visit a Masaai village and stop for a picnic lunch along the way.
- We arrive at our lodge that is perched up high on the rim of the crater in time for sundowners and dinner.
- Meals: Full Board
- Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
- Another early start to the day in which we get to explore the wildlife and birdlife of the crater floor.
- We descend 2000 feet into what is described as the "World’s largest natural wildlife arena".
- The crater floor is home to several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes.
- We do not leave the crater floor until late afternoon; picnic lunch at a scenic spot.
- We return to the lodge in time for sundowners and dinner.
- Meals: Full Board
- Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Day 6: Tarangire National Park
- This morning we depart the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the fantastic Tarangire National Park.
- We drive through highlands and the Karatu district where we see wheat plains and coffee plantations before dropping down the spectacular escarpment.
- En route to our lodge, we game drive from the main gate before arriving for lunch.
- Mid-afternoon we set off on our afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge for dinner.
- Meals: Full Board
- Accommodation: Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Day 7: Simba Safari ends
- We depart the Tarangire after breakfast and head northeast to Arusha for the end of our safari.
- After lunch in Arusha, a transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for our connecting flights awaits.
