The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy offers up in terms of wildlife is a very successful rhino and Grevy zebra breeding, lion, leopard, and over 70 other mammal species. A true wildlife photographers paradise. The conservancy offers five extremely diverse ecosystems: open savannah, acacia forest, rocky gorges and ravines, mountain forest and the Lewa swamp.
Over 440 species have been sighted and recorded in the area.
Lewa Safari Camp offers guest privileged access to this amazing 65,000 acre of protected wilderness.
Thirteen permanent tented suites are available (11x twin/double and 2x family tented suites), all with private views out over and into the surrounding Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. All suites offer a main bedroom, spacious verandah and en-suite bathrooms facilities.
The family tented suites offer a master bedroom and an en-suite twin room with en-suite bathrooms connected by a large and private verandah.
Most meals (other than those legendary bush breakfasts) are served in and around the central guest area at Lewa Safari Camp.
Breakfast and lunches are served "al fresco" by the swimming pool, while dinners are served up in the indoor dining room or the outdoors almost boma area. A modest wine list from which you can find a suitable bottle to accompany your evening meal.
All the food is fresh, with most of the produce coming from local small-scale Masai farmers surrounding the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, hence supporting the local economy.
The central guest area at Elewana Lewa Safari Camp offers a cosy authentic safari experience with lounges, a large fireplace, an indoor dining room and bar, a small library and a private massage room. Outdoor, green grass surrounds a large swimming pool with sun loungers and just off to the side of the lodge is an outdoor dining area with a firepit.
Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the central guest area, as are charging facilities.
At Lewa Safari Camp, there are many different activities to keep you busy during your stay. Discover Lewa's fascinating flora and fauna with expert and professional guides, watch the wildlife interact, or take a cultural stroll through Masai culture.

Located in the southern suburbs of Nairobi is an English manor house. When it was built, the country was unclaimed bush rampant with African wildlife. The home of Karen Blixen is nearby who posthumously lends her name to this suburb, Karen.Hells Gate Kenya
I had visions of being trampled by buffalo, stalked by lions, or, given the extreme humidity and daytime temperatures, falling prey to one of the thousands of vultures who call Hell's Gate National Park their home. But our guide assured me that it would be fun.
