| Elephant Plains Game Lodge offers you comfortable and affordable style in one of the world's few remaining wilderness areas. Elephant Plains is a privately owned and operated property within the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, part of the 2,2 million hectare Greater Kruger National Park. Over many years strict conservation policies and successful habitat management have resulted in a rich diversity of fauna and flora. In the Elephant Plains Reserve you will come face to face with the Big Five and may be lucky enough to encounter other rarer species such as the endangered wild dogs and cheetah. Elephant Plains is situated on the banks of the Manyeleti river offering unforgettable views of sunrise and sunset across the plain. The pool deck overlooks the watering hole opposite the camp where animals come to drink daily. The main lodge houses the reception, dining room, bar/lounge, wine cellar, library and curio shop. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Elephant Plains Game Lodge comprises six luxury suites, each with a lounge area and private deck with views of the riverbed. A further five original rondavels are set in a beautifully landscaped garden. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with shower, bath and air-conditioning. FOOD & WINE: Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style in the dining room and evening meals are served around a fire in the boma. Each meal is prepared with exquisite care and this combined with the open-air setting, promise an unforgettable dining experience.
