By using this website, you agree to the terms set out below. They cover how you may use our content, how we collect and look after your personal information, and the legal basis on which this site operates.

These terms apply to uyaphi.com and to every other website operated under the Uyaphi banner.

Definitions & Interpretation;

• "Uyaphi.com" means Uyaphi Safaris CC, trading as Uyaphi.com (Company registration number 1999/028947/23).
• "The Client" means the person who accepts the booking by signature or any other means for the delivery of travel services.
• "Uyaphi.com websites" means the website owned and operated by Uyaphi.com including any page, part or element thereof and furthermore all domain names linked to Uyaphi.com (All domains owned and operated by Uyaphi Safaris CC).
• "User" means any person who enters or uses Uyaphi.com or any of our other domains even if only the home page is visited.
• References herein to the singular include the plural and vica versa.

• Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC allows you to view, download, and print the content of this website, provided this is for private, personal and non commercial purposes only.
• No individual/ company/ organisation may publish, for profit, any collection of any parts of this work, of whatever nature and whether complete or incomplete, without written permission from Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC.
• Any unauthorised reproduction of this work will constitute a copyright infringement and render the doer liable under both civil and criminal law.

• The information contained on this site is an invitation to do business and not an offer.
• If you forward an offer to us, Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC shall indicate our acceptance thereof by return mail.
• Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC acts herein as an agent for our respective business partners and therefore any agreement resulting from the acceptance of an order is deemed to be an agreement between the relevant business partner and yourself.

Privacy;

• We are committed to protecting your private information that you share with us, your trust is everything.

• Data Collection:

  • Personal Data (Data that is required to facilitate local and international travel):
    • We collect and store personal information in relation to your travel itinerary, particulars of travelling companions and travel preferences.
    • We collect personal information regarding your preferred payment methods including Credit Card, Bank Transfer or Cash receipts.
  • Third Party Data (Sharing personal data):
    • Personal information is only shared with service providers in order to secure ones travel arrangements.
    • Personal data is never shared outside of Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi safaris CC and our service providers.
  • Non-personal Data (Data collected from the website regarding usage and information extracted for analytics) :
    • As you browse Uyaphi.com, advertising cookies may be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in.

• Data Storage:

  • Secure Data Storage is of utmost importance and we at Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC take this matter very seriously.
  • In order to safeguard information, prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have in place cloud storage, electronic, physical and managerial procedures to secure the data that we collect online and offline.
  • Our websites and servers are protected by SSL, two-step Authentication and are all located in secure data centres.
  • Due to the nature of the internet never being completely secure, we will always do our best to protect your personal data, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us; any transmission is at your own risk. 
    • Once your personal data is received by us at Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi safaris CC, we then use our security features and procedures to try and prevent unauthorised access.
  • We keep personal data as long as it is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting requirements.

• Sharing your information:

  • We do not share your personal information outside of Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC other than service providers (lodges, safari operators, vehicle hire companies, airlines and any other service required for your safari itinerary) that forms part of ones safari itinerary in Africa.
    • For example, if your itinerary includes Cape Town Hotel, Kruger Lodge, Car Hire and Flights; these suppliers will have to have your Name, Age, Travel Dates, Passport Details, Dietary Requirements, Health Issues (as examples) in order to provide a legal service.
  • Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC will keep all personal information as strictly confidential.
    • Unless:
      • Obliged to do so by law or legal process.
      • We may need to share some reservation details with financial institutions to verify payments (Credit Card Companies and Banks).
      • We may share information with financial institutions and law enforcement should fraudulent or security incidents take place.

Editorial Control;

• This Website may contain content provided by third parties and hyperlinks to other sites.
• Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC does not screen or filter such content or the other sites or information available from that other sites and therefore does not accept any liability for defamatory, illegal or criminal content contained on those sites.
• We would ask our users to report/ make aware any infringements, illegal or criminal content found on any of the sites available through links from this site.

Changes to User Agreement;

• Uyaphi.com/ Uyaphi Safaris CC reserves the right to make changes to this site and this user agreement at any time without notice.

Applicable Law;

• This site is created, maintained and controlled in the Republic of South Africa and as such the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the jurisdiction of the South African Court govern this user agreement and the use or inability to use this site.
