Chilli Pepper Lodge is an intimate and exclusive Country Lodge, set on a subtropical fruit farm with glorious views of mountains and the Sabie River Valley. Perfectly placed for exploring the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. A generous full English breakfast is served and your hosts will be happy to book dinner at one of a good choice of restaurants in the area, as well as assist you in planning your day trips. Discover a mystical world of lingering fragrances and lush vineyards on the wrinkled slopes of the majestic Kasteelberg and discover the treasure at the foot of the mountain, revealing a heritage of long established successful winemaking. Chilli Pepper Lodge is proud to supply their guests with a wonderful wine collection from Riebeek Cellars. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Stylishly appointed en-suite bedrooms and suites, three with fully equipped kitchenettes, two with mini-kitchenettes and braai facilities. All rooms and suites offer private entrances, covered patios/verandas, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, safes, air-conditioning, TV, and secure lock up garages. We have 24 hour security. The Lodge is owner managed and children are welcome. The African Suite – Offers absolute African elegance with a separate bedroom and lounge, kitchenette and braai. Breathtaking views of sunsets over the Sabie River Valley. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Covered patio facing fountain courtyard. Very special. Private braai area. Kitchenette overlooking fountain courtyard. Covered patio facing East onto sweeping farmlands. Bath en-suite. Mini bar, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, mini safe and lock-up garage. The Victorian Room – Very elegant. Finished in cool green and white decor. Private braai area. Kitchenette facing into the sunset. Covered patio. Watch the sunrise across lush farm orchards. Very unusual double shower en-suite. Mini bar, tea / coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, mini safe and lock-up garage. The Blue Room – A cool room with queensize bed and its own sitting area overlooking dense vegetation and neighbouring farmlands. Private covered patio facing the sunrise. Shower en-suite. Very elegant. Mini bar, tea / coffee making facilities , ceiling fan, mini safe and lock-up garage. FOOD & WINE: A generous full English breakfast is served and your hosts, Chris, Pamela, Arno and Elichia, will be happy to serve you dinner and drinks in the courtyard. If so desired, our Shangaan traditional dancers can charm you with their voice and dance. FACILITIES/ACTIVITIES: The following adventure activities are available: Geckoing, zip-line, mountain biking, quad biking, horse trails, wall climbing, paint ball, abseiling, kloofing, river rafting, white water tubing, kayaking, archery, hot air balloon safaris, helicopter trips, open vehicle safaris and night drives into the Kruger National Park. |
