The Agulhas Country Lodge set against a hill, with a spectacular sea view overlooking the southern most tip of Africa from nearly every vantage point. This is where the Atlantic ocean and Indian ocean meet. The Cape Agulhas stretch of coastline is notorious for the loss of serveral ships. Some shipwrecks are still visible from the shore.
Agulhas Country Lodge is built from natural limestone and century old Oregon pine sash windows and doors salvaged from other historic properties in the Cape, this lodge is furnished with antiques and art with a few modern day touches.
The combination of the old and the new has created an unusual atmosphere which blends well with the stark natural surroundings of the area.
