Entabeni Ravineside Lodge is built on stilts on the cliff side with bird's-eye views of the valley below. The 12 000 ha Entabeni Game Reserve is situated in the malaria free, unspoilt Waterberg range in the Limpopo Province (The Province of Peace). The emphasis is on gaining an insight into the wonders of nature. Service here is of the utmost importance. The well-trained game rangers are able to supply you with a wealth of information regarding the fauna and flora, as well as history and geology. At Entabeni Ravineside Lodge you will enjoy the experience of sundowners, picnics or bush-braai's under African Skies. The natural rock formations and verdant bush are haven to 17 species of antelope, plus the Big Five, giraffe and warthog, to name but a few. A wide variety of birds, especially around Lake Entabeni, make this a birdwatchers paradise. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Ravineside Lodge comprises tranquil thatched wooden lodges on stilts with bird's eye-views. Each lodge has 3 or 4 luxury en suite bedrooms with an African ethnic theme. A private open-plan lounge and bar area extends to the open sundecks. From here guests can indulge in bird and game watching and experience the beauty of the ravine with the rippling sound of water far down in the valley. Rooms have telephone, ceiling fans, hair-drier, safe, tea/coffee station, guest amenities, mini bar, magazine. FOOD & WINE: Enjoy dinners by candlelight in the popular Serengeti Restaurant that offers international cuisine, or relax under the Wild Fig at the pool and boma overlooking the grass plains nearby, which always offer superb game viewing. Boma dinners include the more traditional 'potjies' and barbeques so well loved in South Africa.
