Entabeni Kingfisher Lodge is situated on the banks of Lake Entabeni on the upper escarpment of the 22 000 ha Entabeni Game Reserve in the Waterberg region of Limpopo Province. Kingfisher Lodge is a satellite lodge of Lakeside Lodges. The reserve has a spectacular scenery and rich vegetation comprising bushveld plains, surrounded by wooded hillsides and unspoilt ravines that are haven to the Big Five as well as a large variety of other wildlife. Entabeni Game Reserve is a MALARIA FREE area. The reserve offers five splendidly situated lodges/camps, set on two escarpments in a series of awesome landscapes. Set on the banks of Lake Entabeni, Kingfisher Lodge is the most exclusive and luxurious of all the lodges, offering all kinds of personalized service, such as an executive chef, waiting staff, and an experienced game ranger accompanied by an open safari vehicle. The lodge is the ideal setting for the discerning tourist and entices guests to relax on the large wooden decks overlooking the lake and Entabeni Mountains. ROOM & SUITE TYPES. Eight deluxe rooms feature showers, baths, twin hand basins, extra length beds, electric blankets for winter, overhead fans, fireplaces, mini bars and wooden decks. The honeymoon suite features an exquisite four-poster bed and Jacuzzi bath. One of the rooms is also paraplegic friendly. Giant shade trees form a green and cool canopy over the lodge.
