Sanyati Lodge, situated alongside the spectacular Sanyati Gorge, is sheltered by the Matusadona mountain range and overlooks the expansive waters of Lake Kariba providing a unique African Adventure. A combination of stone walls, indigenous timber and thatch has been used throughout the lodge. The individual accommodation lodges, which overlook the lake, are very private and offer magnificent views through huge glass panes that open out onto a timber deck. Seldom will you find the quality of sophisticated living within such an unspoilt and undisturbed habitat. Exclusivity is the main focus, and the accent is on personal service that is both attentive yet discreet. Every aspect of your stay at Sanyati Lodge is geared to meeting the highest possible standard. ROOM & SUITE TYPES: Luxury Chalets: The individual accommodation lodges which overlook the lake, are very private and offer magnificent views. Every room has overhead fans, air conditioning and a minibar. Guests can gaze at the stars while taking an open air shower or relax in a ball and claw bath while watching the sun set over the lake. Honeymoon Suite: The Matusadona Suite is ideal for Honeymooners and has a lovely setting high up overlooking the lodge with its own private swimming pool. The spacious bathroom has twin basins, a large bath overlooking the lake and an open air shower. Presidential Suite: The Royal Tonga suits those clients who want to experience absolute privacy in extremely lavish surroundings. The double story suite has an entrance hall, large lounge/dining area and guest cloakroom on the ground floor. The lounge opens out onto a leisure deck with a swimming pool. Upstairs, the expansive bedroom has large glass windows allowing for a breathtaking view of the lake. There is an en-suite dressing room and bathroom. No detail has been overlooked in the Royal Tonga, from the exquisite African antiques, artifacts and paintings to the deep mahogany wood furniture and rich ethnic fabrics which decorate the interiors.
