The Uyaphi.com team has been exceptionally privileged to visit, photograph, and experience many of Kruger's finest lodges and camps on numerous occasions over the past two decades. We have explored the park's remarkably diverse landscapes and witnessed its magnificent wildlife, including the legendary "Big Five". Umlani Bush Camp is set in the heart of the Timbavati Game Reserve, offering superb rustic accommodation, hospitality and an authentic safari atmosphere and all of this mixed with some of the best wildlife in the whole of South Africa. Nothing like a game drive in the Timbavati, an excellent option for those on self-drive safaris. One of the best bushveld camps.
Ezulwini River Lodge Gallery

Succumb to bushveld luxury at Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge, which is built on the banks of a riverbed seasonally visited by rain, bringing herds of grazing animals and their predatory counterparts right to the vicinity of the lodge. Located in the Balule Nature Reserve, a pristine private region of the Greater Kruger Park.

nThambo Tree Camp is a small and intimate safari camp in the Klaserie Game Reserve that offers up fantastic wildlife and lodging at a very reasonable price point. After our recent visit we can in full confidence recommend nThambo and here are the photographs that we took while staying there.
Umkumbe Lodge Photo Gallery
On the numerous games drive here, we had a fantastic time spotting wildlife and birdlife, but it is back at the lodge with the views of the Sand River where we had our best birding opportunities. It was also back at the lodge while swimming in the pool that a large herd of buffalo and elephant slowly meandered up the river bed - amazing.
