The best time of the year for a Kruger safari during the winter months of April to September, as water is restricted to rivers and waterholes, visibility is also good as the vegetation is less dense. Summer from October to March is often hot and humid due to the rains, birding is excellent and wildlife viewing is good in the early morning and late afternoon. November and December are the calving month
