This 3 day tour takes you on safari in open safari vehicles in the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi 'Big Five' Game Reserve and allows you a glimpse into the life of the traditional/rural Zulu, who to this day retains a great deal of the 'old cultural' customs and beliefs, which often feel completely 'alien' yet fascinating to the western world. Rates: From R4 915.00 per person sharing Currency Converter  Day 1: Durban / St Lucia / Hluhluwe » We leave Durban by 07h00, arriving at Mtubatuba by 11h30 where we meet our guide » We change vehicle and transfer to Veyane Zulu Cultural Village where we will have the opportunity to learn more about the contemporary way of life of the local Zulu people » We watch and have the opportunity to join in on bead making, mat weaving, and the playing of local instruments » We will meet a sangoma (witchdoctor) and watch traditional Zulu dancing.
